Wedding Apulia

This young couple approched me after meeting me at an event: their dream was a wedding in Apulia, a big party in the name of tradition, among the most representative colours of the Mediterranean lands.

A single venue hosted both the civil ceremony and the reception: a marvellous Apulian masseria immersed in a centuries-old olive grove and surrounded by trulli provided the backdrop for an unforgettable evening; for the choice of the palette, we were inspired by the Apulian land and its warm nuances: gold, sand, beige, dove grey and brick coloured the whole event.

The ceremony took place in front of the small church nestled among the trulli; the focal point and frame for the exchange of vows was a circle, a symbol of continuity, decorated with typical Apulian pumis. Guiding the bride and groom to that point was a wonderful path of pink petals.

After the ceremony, the poolside hosted an aperitif with lots of show-cooking islands, including the mozzarella maker's, the fried food and the fish corner. At dinner, on the other hand, an imperial table was set next to the trulli. Obviously, the table was decorated with Pumi pugliesi.

The cutting of the cake, on the other hand, took place under the main façade. A huge arch of typical Apulian illuminations, used for village festivals, was set up in the garden, and then it was time for everyone to party into the night with the pasta di rinforzo served at 2am.
